‘432 Park Avenue’, the name sounds more like a street, right? Well, just to let you know, it is the only residential building known by its street address. Purchased for $440 million in 2006 by Harry Macklowe in 2006, it was constructed after the demolition of another 495-room structure to raise this breathtaking condo tower exceptionally designed by Rafael Vinoly.
The upper penthouses in this building offer a view of all of New York Cities that includes most of the major natural landscapes of Hudson, Brooklyn, Central Park and the Atlantic Ocean.
It is also interesting to know that this spectacular structure also features a private restaurant with an outdoor terrace, a 75ft swimming pool and spa, a screening room and performance venue, climate-controlled wine cellars, a children’s playroom and a board room.
Apart from it being a statement of the changing New York life, it also stands as an epitome of a luxurious condo lifestyle. A look into its interiors tells the entire tale that resides within.
According to Vinoly, the creator of ideas behind this exceptional structure, each of the building’s 96 storeys features 6 windows that measures 10 by 10 feet, on all four sides. Though he is not happy about the fact that it eats up the floor space due to its thick framing, it also means that the presence of these windows create the grand experience of estate living. On the inside, these are thickly framed – eating up floor space.
Adding to its charm and comfort is the solid oak flooring, the custom hardware and fittings, and most importantly, the central heating and air conditioning. The master bedroom suite with double bedrooms and dressing room makes it clear that none needs to compromise when it comes to space.
The perfectly designed kitchens in this condo features a window framed breakfast bar, a build-in wine cooler unit and a built-in espresso service that makes it an ideal place to prepare meal and entertain one with the morning view over breakfast.
Dornbracht polished-chrome fittings and radiant heated floors complements the master baths at 432 Park Avenue. To add to it all, the bath consist of freestanding soaking tubs framed within expansive windows that surely makes up for a spa experience.
This famous residential building is one of the grandest living places for anyone who can afford its luxury and style. Palladian-proportioned spaces with complementary ceiling and floor ensures the best that one can achieve.
